Future Plans

Newcastle University Art Block

My first choice for for studying my fine art degree is Newcastle university and having looked around both the Art Department and City i am very excited to be applying for 2019 entry. The facilities are perfect for me with lots of space and encouragement for painting, which is already my preference, as well as a number of well supported other aspects of fine art with a variety of 3D workshops and printing spaces onto of a tech suite and attache art gallery.

I feel that newcastle would be able to support my ambitions for becoming a painter and would be able to give me a strong foundation for becoming an artist and even though it is a 4 year course i would be more the happy to do the 4 years.

I have also looked at Leeds, Nottingham Trent, and Camberwell (UAL) and will be looking at Wimbledon College of Art (UAL) and City and Guild. However, i want to stay preferably further away from home AND not in London. Which lowers my preference of Camberwell, Wimbledon and City and Guild as well as i live near Nottingham. Regardless all of these universities have outstanding facilities and i am more than interested in applying for as i feel they too will be able to thoroughly support my creative ideas it is purely down to preference that Newcastle ticks all the boxes for my perfect university course.
