Sadly due to mitigating circumstances i haven’t been able to create much work or really develop many ideas for this project but i would say i have given myself a lot of food for thought and created some interesting concepts i could develop later on in the course.
The main idea i would of developed would have been looking at the actual figure in overpopulation rather than representing it. taking photographs and life drawings and creating composed crowd scenes. I did manage to do a few of these but didnt really get to develop them into paintings and get real momentum with this project.
As well as the drawings i did some ink pictures as a more suggestive
Overall i am annoyed i didn’t get to properly develop this project and will try to touch back on it in my FMP. i wanted to look at crowding confined spaces such a lift or small room with too many people and photographing them, as well as recording places such as train stations or airports with life drawings
